Do you think that
prices are going to just keep going up and up? I've noticed it with gap, banana republic, and jcrew. It has to level off eventually, right?

They can keep raising prices, but eventually, people will stop paying them. Very few people I know "need" more clothes or are so trendy that they can't keep wearing most of what they have.

Right, I agree. But do you think that will force places to lower their prices? Or will we be forced to shop elsewhere?

I think at a certain point, these stores will have to decide if they want to be "high end" or where they are now. But you can't be one & masquerade as the other.
