Do you think my FET cycle will be canceled

So I began taking Estradiol last Wednesday after seeing my RE on Tuesday. The rep in billing said my copay is $1000 (told this on Tuesday)...no problem moved money from an online savings to a checking account with another financial institution. On Friday afternoon while at work I received a call from the billing rep that she is waiting for UHC to approve the cycle (went through this during my fresh cycle) so I have to pay upfront the full amount and if covered they would reimburse me! Went online when I got home to move the additional money required from my online account to me checking account which takes 3 business days to show up! Appointment is this morning at 7am. Funds are not in my account as of yet! Was going to call once they open at 8 to cancel and schedule for tomorrow. Since its a Frozen cycle do u think they will just say ok I can come tomorrow or cancel this cycle????? TIA

I can't imagine a facility doing that, cancelling your FET because the money didn't go through. What I would want to know, why didn't the billing rep take care of this in adequate time so it went through with UHC? They do this everyday and know it takes time. You shouldn't be penalized for that. Good luck!

That is exactly why I am irate! I just got off the phone with UHC and they said it has been approved! So I missed my appointment today, because the office did not take the steps necessary.

OMG..that is crazy! They are supposed to get approval way before cycle, as they should know it takes time for it to go through.
