Do you think market's going to go up or down in a year?

If you had the chance to lock in a buyer for your house for next year now, would you? Would you use appraised price for this year? Lower/higher?

Just curious...

I would think market's going to recover, so locking someone in at this year's price means you'll lose $ next year

I definitely do not think prices will go UP next year. If anything, prices may stabilize but my personal opinion is we're going to see another drop at least this year if not next as well.

either stablize or drop depending on the area

banks are holding back foreclosures - there is still alot of distressed properties to be moved thru

I think drop. People are still out of work regardless of statistics showing the economy is gettign better.
