Do you support your candidate?

Financially? Do you go out and help with the campaign in a non-financial way? Make calls, hand out flyers...get out the vote?

Re: Do you support your candidate?

a report I read earlier today stated that Obama and McCain are spending $30 MILLION A WEEK on ads!

I wouldn't give them a dime! (even if I was voting for them)

I would rather donate to charity.

what a disgusting display of decadence! Chat Icon that money could have so many excellent charitable uses

I do!!!!! As do my parents and sister!!

And we have always gone out and stumped for our candidate!

My 18 month old has Obama buttons and t-shirts too....we're a sick bunchChat Icon

ETA: We also donate to numerous charities as well, I'd rather not buy something for myself to support my candidate honestly.

We did make a donation, and we have a sign on our lawn. But honestly that was more b/c I wrote to the candidate asking for tix to the Hofstra debate and thought that those might help my case. They didn't. Chat Icon

Re: Do you support your candidate?

I wouldn't make a donation. I would love to get involved making phone calls and things like that. DH and I are involved in a political organization so I am going to see if they are doing anything like they may not do it for Pres campaign but on a local level

Yeah, I knew that, I wish there was someplace locally to get one. I don't want to pay 8 dollar shipping for an 8 dollar sign.

No way. Let them waste their own money on their campaigns...I work too hard for mine.

I gave a little money early on, and I've been volunteering to help in other ways more recently.

As a matter of fact, I just drove to PA today and stumped for my candidate in Northeast Philadelphia and attended a rally for him! Chat Icon Chat Icon It was a long day but very rewarding! I knocked on doors and met so many great people in the Mayfair neighborhood. Oh, and I ate a ton of delicious pretzels! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have donated to his campaign during the primaries and the general election - its a small amount but I think it's for a good cause.
