Always with meals & never inbetween for us. It's important that kids get the right amount of milk, not too little, not too much. If I gave it to DD in between meals she would just drink tons of it & that's actually dangerous. She gets water in between meals.

Just in between- if she had milk with dinner she would never eat. She has about 3 sippys of milk a day(about 15oz).

same here, except he gets one w/bfast. three 7oz sippys/day & usually water w/dinner

dd is 2.5 yrs old. she has a cup of milk in the am (before breakfast) and a cup after dinner right before bed.

Our ped. told us in between meals so she would actually eat her food and not fill up on the milk. It works for us. She drinks between 18-20 oz. a day.

In between - he gets more "real" food this way. I don't worry about him getting too much b/c I fill up the sippy the exact same amt every time - he gets b/w 14 and 16 oz per day which is exactly what the ped recc! I think it totally depends on your DC!

Same exact here. My DD LOVES milk and hates most food-- it wouldn't be a good idea for us to serve them at the same time

In between meals. He gets two 6 oz. bottles and one 4 oz. He was getting another 4 oz., but he got constipated, so I cut one bottle. I may add another ounce or two of milk though, he seems too hungry.

My DS gets his milk in between meals. He gets 3 six ounce sippy cups a day. I always offer him water after he eats and he often drinks water in between meals too.

DS gets milk 3x a day, when he first gets up (before breakfast), with lunch and then before bed

both, I give it to her with meals and then she drinks it at her leisure....she gets about 16-20 oz a day of milk
