While I think it's absolutely adorable, can you use a different color shirt underneath? Something about the white on white, it doesn't make the sweater stand out IMO.
You can't go wrong with it though, it's really cute.

I personally like it.
However, I could never get it because DH would throw a fit if I ever put our son in red pants.  I would have to have him in black cords or something.
