do you know someone who does snow plowing/shoveling for homes?
My dad really can't shovel his driveway anymore because of his heart and other things. Now that I live so far from them and don't own a car I can't go out and shovel it for them anymore. They live in Dix Hills, out in Suffolk. Any suggestions?- I would be so thankful.  I'm so worried he's going to just do it himself.

I would call a bunch of landscaping companies. A lot of them will do snow removal.

My Dad found a guy in the Pennysaver who he plans on using this winter. His rates seemed very reasonable. My Dad is in E. Northport, so he isn't far from your Dad and I'm sure the guy does the Dix Hills area too.
Here is his information:
Treeco, Inc. 631-757-9501
Charges $25 - $35 per 10" of fallen snow. Includes driveway, walk and front steps.

our current landscaper does snow removal and 99% certain that he will travel. he books up quickly though. i plan on calling him later so i will ask if he has any openings.
