The only time I feel like that is at work. I feel like the same people constantly are "misunderstanding" me at their convenience.

I agree... especially with bosses... but now that i changed job's it's a lot better, But when i see my old boss Like today that is how she makes me feel ' misunderstood' , she will say one thing and tell my boss something else, than i have to call him and explain what happened and than he was like ok dont 'Listen' to her she is 'NOT' your boss anymore.
