do you ever feel...
like you have two parallel lives???
This may be a working mom question, but sometimes I just feel like we straddle this line between two universes.
Like today, I was interviewing a somewhat popular singer today and when I went to itch behind my ear, I felt some type of lotion on my hand. It was DESITIN!!!!
Little did this guy know, but an hour or so before I was talking to him about his video and music, I was changing a heinously large poopy diaper while preparing to bolt out of the house and must have gotten a bit on me!
YIKES, how unhip is that?

 That's a great story and yes I know what you mean about parallel lives.
I've had co-workers in my office while I'm on the phone with the sitter talking to her in about how many poopie diapers Jake had. Thank goodness of them understood any Spanish! As far as they knew, it was a business call.
But, in my case, alot of people also saw me preggers so they constantly ask about the baby, etc. I was walking through the large public lobby of the building today pulling a dolly with a computer on it and a co-worker passes me and says (somewhat loudly) "Hey, you should be pushing a baby carriage!" I can only imagine how extremely sexist that must've sounded to anyone who overheard!

Ah, how I wish I spoke another language to talk when I check on her...I have been "talking" to Bella when some people have strolled into my office. High-pitched cooing is NOT part of the business

Yup definitely 2 lives. I think that's why I wanted to clone myself so badly when it was time to go back to work. Be able to go to work with adults when I want, and then stay home when I want. I could boss the clone around.
Great story about Desitin...and Im glad it was ONLY Desitin.
