Do you ever...

Wonder about the lurkers here and on LIW? Do you censor certain posts because you wonder who might be out there reading? Do you ever wonder if someone you chat with frequently may actually know you and just has never said anything?

People have found me on LIF/LIW and they were all nice people so it's fine, but every once in awhile I wonder if there are any other lurkers out there that might know me ... anyone else?

Also, do you think it's wrong if you realize you know someone on here and don't say anything to them?

ABSOLUTELY. i am careful w/ what i choose to share/post and have no profile info. there has been one to many incidents w/ lurkers turning evil and malicious.

Yes, I wonder and worry a bit. I do think I reveal less info than I used to.

And if I realized that someone I knew was on here, I'd say something. If only because I wouldn't want them to realize first, and realize that I knew who they were and didn't say anything.

But i don't censor anything i say.
I am pretty open about me and my life
No in-laws or relatives are on here or would be...

But i often wonder if there are people i know or know me on here. And that kinda freaks me out a bit

I always censor my posts - unfortunately while I was on LIW I had a "stalker". She was the girlfriend of a friend and needless to say we didn't get along very well - I think she was a little jealous of my friendship with her boyfriend.

I started hearing comments about things I'd mentioned online from mutual friends and I freaked!!!! I had to change my name 3 times!!! I'm still paranoid that she may be "checking up on me". She should totally GET A LIFE (I hope this is one post she DOES read! )
