Do you change the channel during commercials?
DH does this ALL the time. For example - if we are watching a show like Jon & Kate Plus 8 or The Office - we love those shows, we look forward to them and want to watch them from start to finish... but he HAS to change the channel and surf during like the TWO minutes of commercials. He always goes back after the show has already come back on.
Now, if I'm not really into a show I'll surf during the commercials b/c I'm not really watching it to begin with - but when I settle down to watch a show - I don't surf b/c then you miss some of the show - Now, I know DH is not the only one who does this - and it's not the end of the world - just irks me - anyone else bothered by this? Does anyone else do this? We NEED TiVO so the commercials get cut out!

I dont think i've watched live TV for the past year or so.....if I still did, it would be a constant battle with DH to stop channel surfing during commercials!

I totally agree. We never watch commercials.
I have to add that Kate is a B*tch on that show. SHe is so MEAN to her husband!

I KNOW, RIGHT??!!!
Vinny and I comment on that ALL the freaking time!! It's weird - I LIKE her as a person and I think she is amazing b/c of the 8 kids and all - I mean, she is so clean and stuff - but she is just so HARSH with him! And he is ADORABLE  and so good as a Father and DH!
Seriously - I have to get DVR.
Nic- how are you doing?? How is the little one in the belly?? Just about ready to make her debut?!

I just told him he has to - he actually AGREED after I argued that he surfs so much it makes me miss key parts of shows - NOW it is just getting him to CALL and get the cable people in here to do it

I can't imagine life without a DVR! We rarely watch commercials, if ever. We have a 30 second jump button, so we don't even have to watch fast-forwarded commercials, just fractions of a second of some of them.

I RARELY RARELY RARELY am sitting through a whole show. I will either change the channel, ffwd (If its DVR), or get up for something or other.
I absolutely cannot sit and watch commercials.
I actually never knew people watched commercials until I see the many posts on here about commercials ! 
I cant even think of the last time I sat and watched a whole show..
