Do you / Will you be using a sleep positioner
Another one of those "I dont know if I need things". What are your thoughts on the sleep positioners?
ETA - I mean for the baby, not for us trying to sleep.

debbie, i was told that it is not needed my my baby basics instructor. she said that it is just a think for retailers to sell.. it is better to put a recieveing blanket to prop the baby up rather than a positioner. so i am not getting one.

I got one with DD and I used until she started rolling over. I thought it was great since by baby spit up a lot in the beginning. It takes your mind off of the choking issue.

Re: Do you / Will you be using a sleep positioner
I wont be using one because in everything Ive been reading it keeps saying how on the back is the best position for baby to be sleeping and that although a positioner is better than the stomach, it is not as safe as flat on the back as far as SIDS goes....just what I've read so far.

I didn't use one. I rolled to receiving blankets together. I put both DS and DD on their sides with the rolled blanket behind them and she they both usually ended up on their backs or they stayed on their side.

I didn't bother. Babies don't really move when they are sleeping, so what's the point??
