Do Wood & Wrought Iron go -- Be Honest
I have a bed with an iron headboard. The seller of the house I'm buying has a beautiful dark wood bedroom set that he offered to sell us. I wouldn't buy the bed (I love it, but just paid off mine) but I do LOVE the furniture. But....do wood and iron match?

I don't have wrought iron furniture, but in our house, the stairway has wood bannisters with wrought iron spindles. I love it! So yes, I'd say they go together.

My friend has the same thing in her condo. It looks beautiful! As long as the wood finish is on the darker side!

I'm just curious though, do they make wrought iron nightstands and such? I'm just not sure why you would think it wouldn't go...

They dont have the picture online anymore but I have the Retro Ve collection by Thomasville and a wrought iron bed. I think it looks really nice.
