Do they tell you the results of the 2nd trimester -anatomy scan- ultrasound during it?

Other than the sex of the baby do they tell you anything at all or do they send the results to your OB ?
I don't remember any more.

Yes I mean anatomy scan, sorry.

The anatomy scan?

I was given results. I go to a place where the ultra sound tech does the sono - then a doctor (not my regular OB) comes in and gives results. Basically all I heard was everything is normal, looks good, we'll send the results to your OB.

If you mean the anatomy scan, when they found a spot on DD's heart, they rushed us into my ob's office right after and made us wait nervously for him without telling us why. He came in and explained what the tech saw and that we would go to a specialist about it.

We went to the specialist a week later and after the tech was done, the specialist told us the results right after.

The techs didn't tell us anything but the gender each time.

The gender only

The office called me the next day to say everything was perfect

Crashing here .. I personally don't like to listen to the techs.. When my baby had complications, the sono tech told us we had a boy and that everything was FINE. It wasn't until the dr came in after that we found out there were very serious issues going on. Regardless of what the techs say, you wanna hear it from the dr anyway. Good luck!

As the tech was doing the sono she was very reassuring, saying that everything was measuring wonderfully and the baby looked great. We then went right in to see the OB and he said the same thing - perfectly healthy baby (thus far).

We had a dr (not my OB) in with a tech so the dr was able to tell us whats going on and if things looked fine. The sonogram tech only told us if it was a boy or girl. Later my OB gave us a summary of what happened during the scan.

My anatomy scan was done in the same office where i see my doctor. I had the scan the tech told me she couldnt tell me anything (bad or good) she did tell me the sex and pointed out the babies body parts. My dr looked over the report and HE was the one who told me the baby was perfect. I had an appt to see him right after the anatomy scan.

At my practice everything is done on site.
The tech does the sono and did tell me everything was looking normal and told me everything she was measuring it as she was measuring it.

Then the MFM Dr comes in and reviews everything, then confirms everything is normal and looks great. And he/she will send results to my reg OB.
