do realtors still do exclusives or is everything automatically on MLS?
We are on MLS literally every day and the real estate agents we've met at open houses keep sending us homes we've already seen, either in person or on MLS...we want to know if any of them have exclusives that are not listed on MLS...do realtors still do this, bc I remember they did when we had purchased our first house!

They still do, you can try websites of real estate offices in your area and see if they have links for exclusive listings

Yes. If you go into their offices or on their website there will be a list of homes everyone is showing and prob a handful that are exclusive to their company.
Our home was exclusive to one realty company and was never listed on MLS.

most people want their house on MLS these days
they sometimes give an exclusive for 2 weeks- then it goes on MLS
it's really not as common is this market

thx Beth, I totally figured that bc they want as many eyeballs on it as possible, but I'd love to even get in on something within those two weeks. We were beat out on a house we looooved and the listing on MLS was literally up for a day, so we assumed it was an exclusive for a little bit and someone just found out about it a few days earlier than us..bc we literally called and saw the house the day it was listed on MLS...

We saw a house in DIx hills that was an exclusive to the broker we used.. Like Beth said, She did say to us that in this market everything does go to MLSLI but these sellers were very private. She said if it didn't sell in 3 mnths off to MLS it would go...
The house is in contract now but I am sure it would have went much quicker on MLSl.
So they are out there but I am sure that there aren't many..

We're looking in RVC and realtors still do that there from time to time. Sometimes they will be listed that way for the first few weeks and if nobody makes an offer they will put it on MLS.
