Do people talk close to your infant?
Does it bother the shiit out of you too?
Do you tell them to back up a bit?
Ugh a family member always puts their face in my girls faces like it's their kid. Like inches away. And laughs and talks to them. Sceevee! I'm their parent and I feel like only I should be doing that. There are too many germs going around.
Maybe I should just go to sleep. It's past my bedtime

OMG I HATE THAT TOO!!!! A family member of mine does it and no matter HOW MANY TIMES I tell her she shouldn't talk so close to my dd face because shes actually scaring her she keeps doing it! Mind you my dd is 9 months old!!!!!!!! Since she was an infant shes done this and once my dd could hold her head up she actually backs her head up away from this woman!
My dd wouldn't smile for her, would cry when she saw her when she was infant! And I finally told her your talking too close to her face if you wouldn't do that she wouldn't be scared of you! Guess what she still does it!!!!!! STILL DRIVES ME NUTS!
I think its disgusting, I skeeve germs and it disturbs me! LOL

I'm not a fan of it either. I know someone who not only does that but lets dd put her hands all over that person's face and I've even seen them go in their mouth. Ugh!

YES! This random girl in Stop and Shop has taken a liking to my son and every time we encounter her, she goes RIGHT IN HIS FACE. It bugs the CRAP out of me!! She's pretty much a stranger, so I don't get her need to get up close and personal. I actually told her to please not get so close because it's flu season, but she didn't take the "hint". I don't know what else to do except switch to Shop Rite! lol

Omg and kiss their hands!! Ugh.
And the close talking is so close that you can't possibly even see the baby without being cross eyed.
I know I'm more sensitive being a first time mom and all but i know I'd be like this 5 kids in too!!
I said something about keeping them from germs and they said yeah til 6 mo. I said no until their mobile and eating crap off the floor and I don't have the energy to stop them anymore.
I have to find a kinda nice way to tell DHs grandma not to kiss them. She tried to as newborns and I stopped her. She lives in a nursing facility where everyone is in close quarters and always sick!

Omg I thought this was just my family. Dh and his dad were yelling to put the baby down because she was crying and being annoyed and they wouldn't!! I wasn't there or I would have flipped. Dd gets overstimulated and cries when she wants to go to sleep. I get you want to see the baby but stop being a jerk and putting your wants ahead of the babies needs.
