Do Not Call- Cell Phone Issue

Hi everyone, I don't know what to do. For a few months I've been receiving calls from towns close to be, even starting with the same number and it's driving me nuts. My cell phone has been registered to Do Not Call list since 2009 so I don't know how to stop these calls. One day someone said I had won a vacation, another day it's about getting a new mortgage, and so on. How can I get these calls to stop? My husband is also experiencing similar calls. Please help.

Try putting your number on the call list again. I was on the list but recently i was getting calls too and was told to re-register my number, I did and calls stopped.

I tried doing that, but the numbers keep changing. I don't want to keep having to do that because literally I get a call everyday

I feel your pain!
I called one back the other day and a recording came on saying press 9 to be put on our no call list.
I did that and it said it would take like 72 hours.
So we'll see

DON"T ANSWER THEM !
DON'T PRESS ANY BUTTONS TO "STOP" THE CALLS.

It's all bull$hit. Same with do not call registry.

Been getting calls and text messages for 2 years now.
I never answer calls where I don't recognize the number. If it is legit, they can leave a message.
But, DH picked up one of these calls 2 years ago and bam, they started coming in.

I get at least 3 calls a day. I block them but then they just call with a new number the next day. I have been on the DNC list forever. I reregistered a month ago and I still get the calls. It's SO annoying.

Is it a 516-217-something number about your electric bill??? They call me like 3x a day.

I get all of the above CONSTANTLY! This is such harassment! I can't beliefe there's no way for any of us to fix this! Ugh!

Ugh, yes
These are constant. I get them from New York, PA, NJ, Maryland, etc. Cali too. I have blocked them as often as I can. Ironically I get only a dozen or so from Texas. Gotten to the point, I just don't answer my phone unless I know you.

I get them on my cell and at the house. I just block the numbers on my cell. I have Optimum Voice at home and they, unfortunately, limit how many phone numbers you can block at any one time (I think it is 20). So when I get an annoying caller (right now I have one from Glen Head that calls EVERY DAY), I have to delete one of the other numbers to put on a new number.

I've been on the Do Not Call List since it came out. It worked for a while, but the past year or so, the number of calls has steadily increased. I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers. If it is important, they can leave a message (most hang up before the voice mail kicks in).

yes!!! I got 4 calls on my cell phone today from that 217 number & 3 on my house phone!! every day this has been going on for over a month!!

DNC list is BS. I get calls from #'s similar to mine and the 217 number other people referenced... I just block the calls as they come in.
