Do you tip the delivery person when they drop off flowers?
It is soo hard to. I never know when I am getting them and I never have any money on me.
I feel so bad

yes, when it's at home, but here in the office they get delivered to my front desk.
Although I haven't gotten a delivery of flowers in years.

No.
I can't believe it would be expected since flowers are generally a surprise.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen the delivery person.
They either leave them on the front porch at home or at the front desk at work.

no, mostly because flowers are a suprise and I never keep cash on me (bad I know) I kind of liken it to the fact that I don't tip the UPS guy at work.

If I have 2 or 3 singles on me, yes. If I don't, I don't feel too bad, because the flowers are a gift, and I'm supposed to be "surprised" by them. I wouldn't worry too much.

same here. my MIL sent me flowers on my wedding day and the delivery guy rang the bell, asked for the bride, came downstairs to me where i was getting my make up done and then left. he didnt ask for a tip, didnt ask me to sign anything, just said "congrats" and left. typically, the delivery guys leave so quickly that i dont have time to find my wallet!

DH usually sends them to me at work and it goes to the reception area, so no. If I got them at home, chances are I wouldnt have cash on me. Or I'd have to tip in coins
