It's Long Island, you tip minimum 20% for everything.
I wouldn't tip.

I always tip a service type job
If the counter top goes in 123, and it was 2 guys, I'd give them $10. If it took while and was difficult , $20. They can grab lunch or something

We had a countertop installed about a month ago and we did tip. They were very appreciative. They did a good job, so I have no problem giving them a tip.
We tend to tip those type of workers because my husband used to do kitchen/bath installations and he was always grateful when someone would give him a few extra bucks.
