do i need a monitor if i am only one room away?
My bedroom and the babys room are right next to each other do i need to register for a audio monitor?

This is how our room and our babys room is - so we decided that to not get a video monitor -only to get a regular one for noises

I live in a one bedroom co-op and I have a video one because when my DH has the tv on, I can't hear a thing! It gives me piece of mind too.
