do I need a crib mattress pad cover with this mattress?
Stearns & Foster Baby Dynasty Eco-Foam 2-Stage Infant-Toddler Mattress
It says that it has a wetproof cover, so wondering if i even have to put anything else on this mattress besides a sheet???
anyone have this mattress that can lend some advice?

i have a naturepedic that's waterproof but i'm using a pad too to make cleanup easier

I personally think you always need a mattress pad. Just a little extra coverage, and easy to take off and wash.

I agree with PP. It makes clean up quicker otherwise you will be wiping down the mattress in the middle of the night. Not something I would want to do.

Just a little tip ---I always used a mattress pad cover. In fact I always used 2! Okay....this is what I'd do.
I'd make the mattress 2 times. Mattress pad cover, sheet, mattress pad cover, sheet.
Sometimes the kiddos get sick in the middle of the night and you are really tired. You don't want to take the whole crib apart to re-make the crib after they get sick.
So I would make it twice and if the diaper leaked or if the baby got sick, all I had to do was pull off one layer and there was another layer all set to go.

I think a mattress cover gives it a little extra softness, so that's why I use one.
