Do I have enough time to order a pottery barn backpack?
Last yr I bought DS a Minecraft backpack from China on amazon and it was awful. Want to get my boys a more quality backpack this year.
How long does it take to get a personalized backpack?
I can't find the timing on pottery barn's website. I have never ordered anything online from them before, only from their store.

I haven't ordered a backpack from them but i've ordered the anywhere chairs personalized and they always come within like 5 days so you have time i would think.

Do I have enough time to order a pottery barn backpack?
I just got DD one over the weekend, which said it was not available until mid August but it's already shipped. We didn't personalize it though because I'm too nervous if a person. I've heard that it can give child predators a tool to convince kids to trust them since they know their name. I tend to worry to much though!

1) the first THREE designs we ordered there were either out of stock or back ordered, and we finally went into a pbk store to get one.
2) I never do names on backpack due to predator concerns.

Usually if you order something in stock it comes within a week.
This time of year it's hard to find many of the PBK designs in stock.
I got my kids Under Armour backpacks off of eBags for a good deal and they are very sturdy if you are looking for another option. Was looking at LL Bean as well but, my older son preferred the Under Armour one.

DS wanted the darth vader backpack which is backordered until October, I called a couple of store and found one in NJ that shipped it to me and it was cheaper.
ETA it was not personalized

I personalized my DS' PBK bookbag but bc I didn't want strangers knowing his name, I only had it monogrammed with his 1st initial. Some people also just use a monogram. I got his last year and I don't remember it taking too long, definitely not longer than 2 weeks. I'd order now though (if you start in Sept) bc schools down south start earlier and so I guess it's possible they are getting lots of orders. My son starts school tomorrow!
