Re: dizzy spells
in my first pregnancy I did. I think it turned out I had low iron and had to take iron supplements for it. But, definitely keep hydrating yourself. Hope you feel better

Re: dizzy spells
I am around 10 weeks and I have been getting dizzy spells. I got them off and on throughout my 1st pregnancy too. The dr. told me it's b/c your blood flow and heart rate increase when you are pregnant.

Re: dizzy spells
I've gotten dizzy sometimes after being in the shower and blow drying my hair, and probably not drinking enough water
make sure you hydrate yourself and give yourself a break

Re: dizzy spells
Yup, I had these in the beginning and actually passed out once. I am 35 weeks and sometimes I feel like this again. Relaxation and water is the key!

Re: dizzy spells
Yup, I've had these a few times since I've been pregnant, as recently as last week. It's probably happened about 5 or 6 times now. I never asked my doctor about it but I always did exactly what your doctor told you to do, got off my feet and tried to cool down and relax. It's definitely not fun...I feel where you're coming from.

Re: dizzy spells
I've been getting dizzy spells as well. It usually happens if I drink coffee during the day. So I try to supplement myself with ice tea-the sugar should help bring my blood pressure back up.

Re: dizzy spells
I got my first one today- I was shopping with DH and just got hot and dizzy all of a sudden. I was scared I was going to pass out, but then remembered reading that dizzy spells could start . . .
