"display" baby shower
I received a baby shower invitation and it says "display" baby shower? What does that mean? I have never seen this term before

They want you to wrap the present in clear cellophane, because the mom to be will not be opening the gifts.

I think it means to wrap the gift in cellophane or other clear paper so they don't have to open all the gifts.

No wrapping. Save a ton of time and a bunch of fake ooohhsss, and aaahhhhs. More time to be social and enjoy it.

I just Googled it. Apparently the gifts aren't wrapped and are just put on display for everyone to see.

ahhh, this makes sense   she is on bedrest with twins so I guess they dont want lifting/bending  It can be hard work opening a trillion gifts  I remember breaking a sweat!
