Re: Disneyworld...where do I start?
I call to book (there used to be different cancellation policies not sure if there still are).
Do you have to pick a date or do you only have a specific week to travel?
To pick a good week or choose between weeks check out www.easywdw.com
I price it out on disney's website, then call to book once I know what I want.
I then watch www.mousesavers.com (you can get hints of when codes are coming out on disboards). Once a codes comes out you can simply call and apply it to your reservation. If more than one, they will give you the best offer. You cannot stack discounts.
If you are booking in advance....I then mark my calendar for the 180 mark from check in. You can make your dining ADRs at that time.
60 days out at might night you can book your FP+ choices.
Easywdw really is a great help these days. Cheat sheets for touring, for selecting FP+, helps to plan meals etc. he also has crowd calendars, and can steer you to choosing the best week.

Disboards.com! It's a Disney forum and any and all possible information and experiences can be found there. I would just sit and search and read for hours, it's mostly filled with hardcore Disney fans with lots of knowledge!

I agree with this actually, especially if you have no clue where to stay. But, it can be overwhelming since there is SO much information, and soooo many threads on there. Planning our first trip, that is where I researched many many years ago.
