DisneyWorld again!!!!!!!
ok so we just went this past january and we are thinking of going again this january. Reason being the girls will just be under two so we won't have to pay for them and we plan on buying a house in the next year and we know once we are in a house we won't be taking a vacation for a while. So anyway I looked up prices last night and it was pretty good. Does anyone know if they are running any sales on packages right now?

WOO HOO! I love it! A return trip!
January is a great time to go! Most of it is in value season, weather and lines are great as you found out last year, especially if you avoid a few key dates.
Packages for January will be out later on this summer and based on past years, it's pretty likely that they will announce a discount such as a % off room only offer of free dining for January right when or soon after those packages are released in August.
LOVE January. I can't travel then formy job but DH and I have taken several January trips

We went Also last January and are thinking about going Again as well this upcoming January. We lucked out you with weather last trip.
I did hear that pricing for the new yr doesn't start until August.
Where did you stay last year?

Lucky!! January is a great time to go. I took DH 10 years ago in Jan and it was one of our best times. We did 98% of the rides in the MK - all walk ons by getting there at rope drop and ending at lunch time. It was so nice to just walk from one ride to the next and walk right onto every ride with no wait at all. I think by 1 the longest line was like 5 mins for the major attractions. We couldn't do a trip this year and now that DD is starting Kindergarten I doubt we will ever do January again because I hate to pull them for a trip. The only thing I didn't love was that is was 70's and one day low 80s but I think they were having some record low nights - and it was 30's and 40's at night. The only downside is that sometimes they have some of the bigger rides out on rehab. That trip Splash mountain was going down for rehab on day 2 of our trip so we had to ride it several times the day we arrived to get our fix.
Be our guest should be open by January too so you should see if you can get an ADR for it.

Pricing for next years packages used to come out I think Aug 6th or so - but I think Jennifer mentioned that last year they came out really early in June. I was hoping that they would do that again this year.

We stayed in Port Orleans Riverside. We will stay there again!! We love that hotel!! the weather was amazing and the kids only missed a few days of school. I was going to book in July. do you think I will be able to do that or do you think I will have to wait until august?

I know i'm super excited!!! the price we got last year was amazing and i just went on to price december and that price was just as good so im hoping it will be around there!! i can't wait!!!!

Right and Martin Luther Weekend in the following weekend. I want to go right after Martin Luther....now I have to convince DH
This - we went 5-12 one year and the marathon was like the day we arrived or the next day. It did bring MUCH higher crowds but the day after the marathon the crowds got much smaller and within about 2-3 days it was completely dead. So I would definitely try to avoid it unless you plan to run in it.
