Disney Vacation Question...
Anyone stay in The Nick Hotel? Were you happy with it or is it better to just stay on Disney grounds?

I'm not sure if this is any help...but I came in because I am obsessed with Disney. 
Anyway, I've stayed both on and off Disney grounds...and with the bus schedules to the parks, I found that stay off the Disney property was a nightmare!
I don't know anything about the Nick hotel, but the hotel that I stayed at off of the grounds only had 1 bus per hour to each park...so we were all always frantically running and racing to make the hour mark every morning.
