Disney store rave + question
I'm really happy with something that happened with a Disney store.com transaction today, and I had to pass it along.
I ordered 2 sets of Frozen figurines as part of a birthday gift for DDs with some other stuff. These 2 boxes came so damaged, I was really upset only because it looked like they had been opened and returned, too. Thinking I had been duped, I took pics and emailed customer service (no pics) asking kindly for a refund and instructions on how to return them. I was really nice, but inside I was pissseddd.
I get an email back almost instantly! No pics necessary. We're sending replacements and please donate the 2 sets to charity, no charge. I am truly flabbergasted. I just wanted a refund, and here they are going above and beyond. I felt guilty for even thinking negative.
Now, for the question: how do I donate these to a children's charity or Cohen's? Any suggestions for a local charity? TIA

Re: Disney store rave + question
I'm a big fan of Toys for Tots - United States Marine Corps.
Pretty soon they'll start having drop boxes all over the place, you can look up where online and you can even contact them to let you know where they'll be.
And yeah, that's Disney for you... They always seem to do the right thing by their customers!

Re: Disney store rave + question
I personally would mail them to st. Jude after speaking with someone there.
Or ,locally I would do a cancer children's hospital. Again, call first and discuss it with them and where to drop it off or send

Re: Disney store rave + question
I would bring them to any local hospital with a children's wing.

Disney store rave + question
I would drop them off to Birthday Wishes. They do birthday parties for children living in homeless shelters.
