Disney Restaurants

DH and I are going to Disney in February to celebrate our anniversary and our babymoon! Recommend some Disney restuarants.... we would like to dine out a few nights, but nothing that is going to break the bank completely. Doesn't matter where it is: can be in any park, downtown Disney, etc.

TIA!!!

Le Cellier (steakhouse) in Epcot is really good.

In Downtown Disney - House of Blues and Portobellos.

Epcot - Coral Reef is pretty good, great atmosphere. Le Cellier is really popular so you may not be able to get reservations for Feb.

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club does a good clam bake buffet and I am not even a seafood eater.

Jiko, California Grill, Bistro de Paris, citricos, flying fish are all very good but more on the pricey side.

In EPCOT -

San Angel Inn - is in mexico - you dine indoors but the restaurant is decorated to look like you are dining under the stars, and the mexico river ride runs next to the restaurant overlooking a myan temple in the background. If you go tell them when you make the reservation (ADR) that you are celebrating and when you go get there early and request a table next to the water - we have always gotten a table there whenever we have gone.

Chefs de France - tables are a little close but it is like eating in a french bistro - the food is good.

Marrakesh if you are a bit adventurous is good - they do have things like chicken and couscous if you are more picky. It is fun with music and a belly dancer.

Le Cellier is very popular - we have had 2 bad meals there but others love it. It can get very crowded (but they all can)

Italy has a nice restaurant but I haven't tried it yet.

Coral Reef is also okay - you dine in front of huge fish tanks from the living seas.

Check out -allearsnet.com the restaurant section of this site under menus they have ALL the menus for every counter service and table service place in WDW - you can check out the menus for the places mentioned above and see if any of them interest you. Make sure whatever restaurant you chose you tell them when you make the ADR that it is your anniversary and babymoon and when you check in remind them and tell your server - they also I think have happy anniversary buttons if you ask at your resort or guest services at MK you can get one. If you wear it and tell people you WILL get some magic (sometimes it is a card, or special dessert or something).

Re: Disney Restaurants

My wife and I had a *magical* dinner at California Grill, which is located on top of the Contemporary Resort. I made our reservation at a time that coincided with the "Wishes" fireworks display, which right now is usually 8PM.

Be sure to request a table that the show can be viewed from. They won't gurantee it, but it is worth it to ask. We were seated in the "Wine Room" and had to leave the table for the show, but they kept our food warm while we watched, so when we returned to the table, everything was perfect.

It's not the cheapest of venues, but it was totally worth it.

Re: Disney Restaurants

Coral Reef is a good one. We really liked that. We really enjoyed Raglan Road: Irish Pub and Restaurant. We had a lot of fun at Chef Mickey's for breakfast. (Not a fancy place but we still enjoyed it so I though I would add it anyway.) Citricos at the Grand Floridian we really liked. Portobello is another good place.

BTW if you haven't already you want to make your ADRs asap or you might not get times that you want. ADR's are pretty hard to get even in off season and with the 7 for 4 package they have I think the crowds might be slightly higher.
