Disney question

Do you think a 2 yr old would enjoy Disney World? Or is she too young?

Re: Disney question

Definately! We took DS when he was 22 months and he loved it. We did Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and, Animal Kingdom. HGot there when the parks opened and avoided lines and did a few Character meals which was nice. He napped in the stroller while we scoped out the good spots for the parades. He walked right up to the characters and loved the rides. We went during the busiest time of year and I was worried about crowds but getting there early and using the fast pass really helped. It really was an amazing trip and we plan to go back many times. I know it's supposed to be, but I just couldn't get over how child friendly everything was.

Not too young at all. We have taken 2 trips DD#1 was 15 months and one month from turning 3. DD#2 turned 1 on our last trip (I found out I was expect DD#2 on DD#1's 1st trip.)

Both girls loved it. In fact DD#1 still remembers where she met Mary Poppins in the MK, and dining with the princess. There is a ton of rides even if they aren't tall enough for a couple of the biggest rides like space mountain etc. They also just finished dumbo and casey's water play area.

I would go! The best is under 3 don't need a ticket and dine free at buffets or family style meals or any place they eat off your plate. So you would only pay for food if you order her a meal at a counter service or an al lacarte sit down. So if you eat at a character meal or place like Ohana dinner you 2 year old would eat for free.

Yes, ye, yes! We went whne my son was 14 mos and again before he truned three and he enjoyed it so much. Will he remember? no he doesn't (he is 5 now) but we do and I have tons of great memories and pictures to prove it! We are going soon with my 17 mo old daughter and can't wait to see her reaction to the characters that she loves!

Re: Disney question

We are taking DD next month, she will be 9 months old. So, I obviously dont think 2 is too young. lol. The one thing DH and I keep saying is we will have to take it slow. Go by her cues. If she seems overly tired then we will stay at hotel pool and just take it easy. I think she will def. enjoy all the sights, my DD acts like going to Target is a field trip! There is soo much to see at disney for all ages. There are also chat boards and tons of info for moms to plan the things they would want/be able to see with little ones.

Re: Disney question

Yes, we just took DD at 2 and she loved it. Although, she was not able to ride all the rides like DS. So that was a bummer for her. But what she did go on she loved!

2 years old is GREAT!

I would be really careful with chat boards. They tend to have a lot of bad info, even Disney Moms panel has been just dead wrong about things on several occasions.

When are you planning to go?
