Disney Park Hopping
We've never gotten the park hopper before...how do you usually use the park hopper? We're trying to figure out the best ways to use it. My husband is a stay at the park from open to close person, but I'm open to coming back to the hotel during the day and going to a different park, etc. Thanks!

It's great bc you can have dining reservations at one park in the morning & let's say dinner somewhere else. So you can be flexible that way.
Also you can do AK half day and let's say go end the night at MK, if it closes late that night.

its great!!! we had to get them last year to get the "Free" dining- and we weren't sure how much we would use them bc DS was only 4... BUT he ended up having the BEST time, hanging in there SO well--- so we would just hop around. i'm pretty sure there was one day we did 3 parks! AK for most of the day, then dinner res in EPCOT, watch illuminations there- THEN headed over to MK for an 11 PM main street electrical parade its fun to do a few things at one park, then take a break or whatever for a little bit, then go to whatever park is having their late hours for the evening...

Re: Disney Park Hopping
We would go to Epcot or HS for afternoons/evenings.
I don't necessarily think the parkhopper is worth the extra cost. I would rather do 1 park per day.

I'm not sure that it will be something we will do again, but we needed it for free dining so we figured we'd try it out this year.

We got the 8 day park hoppers, so the per day cost to park hop wasn't much. We didn't use it most days, but I liked the flexibility of being able to go to a different park in the evening after our mid-day break or just to go to Epcot for dinner.

I love the park hopper so that I can eat at any park I choose even if I don't spend the whole day there. It makes dining reservations less stressful for our travel party and we are typically able to get every location we want because of it.
Another great thing to do is leave for some pool time and then go to a different park at night or if the parks are too crowded for your liking you can head over to one of the other parks that may not be as busy.
I also love it for fireworks viewing. If the weather is bad one night and the fireworks are cancelled you can still go the park the next day to see them even if they are not at the park you plan to spend the bulk of your day in.
