Disney Help! - Dining plans specifically
We are going to Disney in February & just secured our dining reservations. (2 adults, 2 kids) I'm trying to figure out if we should add the dining plan (and if YES, which one). I'm not concerned about having too much food on the plan. DH will disagree no matter how much food there is!
My issue is the restaurants we picked and the amount of days in the park..
Heres the lowdown....
We are staying 5 nights Only 3 days at the Parks
(we are spending one day downtown & the other at Universal)
Our dining reservations include: (all table service)
Be Our Guest - Dinner Hollywood & Vine - Character Breakfast 50's Prime Time Cafe - Dinner San Angel Inn Restaurant - Dinner T-Rex - Dinner
Should I get the dining plan? is it worth it? If we have it, we will use it for sure. Just dont want to over pay for something we really dont need - especially since we have to pay for the amount of nights we are staying at the resort, opposed to the amount of days at the parks.
I rather have everything pre-paid before I go on vacation, so I would definitely consider this if I knew it was worth just adding the plan.
Thanks!

Re: Disney Help! - Dining plans specifically
Adult entrees for the restaurants you chose are in the $25-$35 range.
Adult counter-service lunches run about $10-$15.
With one sit-down per day, you would do the basic meal plan. The deluxe one is great, and we've done it if we're planning a trip with a lot of signature dining, but it's $100 per adult per night.
The basic meal plan is approximately $60 per adult per night and $20 per child per night (not sure of the exact amount since we're DVC and pay a different rate). It includes one sit down, one counter service, and one snack per day. It also gives you refillable mugs for use at your resort.
We use the meal plan not so much to save any money but we like to have everything prepaid.

Thanks.
I think we are going to do it. I like having things prepaid and I really don't want to stress over pricing for each meal.

Also, I know you are only doing 3 park days but you can use the meal plan for resort dining too.
