Re: Disney for adults???
I would try to see Fantasmic and the other parades and firework shows b.c they will be harder to see with young kids (who go to sleep before they start).
Try having some drinks in various countries in EPCOT World Showcase (there is a nice tequilla bar now in mexico)
Restaurants that are good for couples and not the best for at least young children- Jiko California Grill on top of the contemporary Bistro de Paris Narcossees Citricos If you want to spend the money - Victoria and Albert's Kouzina (Cat Cora's restaurant) Artist's point
I would also hit any of the rides that have height restrictions b.c those are harder to do once you have little ones.
Also make sure you hit Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which was lots of fun - w/ little to no wait for rides and a fun parade and fireworks.
If you go early you can get drinks at the Polynesian hotel and grab a blanket or lounge chairs on their beach - they pipe in the music and narration for their fireworks and you can watch the water parade go by.

The pp pretty much hit it all on the head! We own a timeshare thru the Disney Vacation Club at Animal Kingdom and go like twice a year! Now that I am preggers with our first , we didn't go this past December :( I highly recommend California Grill, but time it with the fireworks from Magic Kingdom, you can go out on the rooftop and see them! It's awesome! We love Narcosse's at Grand Floridian and also the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Beach & Yacht Club...DEFINITELY go for the dining plan, but most of the restaurants require 2 dinner dining meals! We also like the one in Japan at Epcot, shoot, I'm drawing a blank on the name...

Have dinner at Emeril Lagasse's restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but SOOOOO delicious!
I forget what it's called, but Epcot has an amazing fireworks show at night. Def catch that!

Ok, silly question does Magic Kingdom have the fire works everynight? I am looking into Cali Grill @ Cont on their late night but tables are all booked up. As far as beer's around the world is it something you do on your own or is it like a tour?

Re: Disney for adults???
Drinking around the world is so much fun for real. We got those kidcot passports and got them stamped in every country too
Sunshine - you do it on your own. It is just having an alcoholic drink in every country.
California Grill for sure too. If you want to go fancy, then go to Victoria and Alberts.
Maybe rent one of the boats or bikes.
And the MK has fireworks every night. And it is sooooo worth seeing from CA Grill. The only thing that doesn't perform every night is Fantasmic at the Studios.
Scubashell, the clubs at Pleasure island have all closed There isn't anything there now, besides the few restaurants and some dance party in the streets.

I believe that WDW puts their calendars for the 4 parks up 180 days out- you can go to their main site and click on parks - you can find the calendars that way - then you click on each day and it will tell you the schedule for the fireworks, certain shows or parades IF they are happening that day. Fireworks I think are almost every night BUT parades in slower times of the year are only certain nights and that changes (but it would be listed on the schedule). Keep in mind that they sometimes change the schedule though so it isn't written in stone - getting a time during the fireworks is tricky and VERY popular to do. I would try for it but not be disappointed if it doesn't happen - remember you want to make your reservation at least an hour before to give you time to be sat.
As far as the beers or drinks around the world. It is something most people do on their own. Each country has little stands (mexico has a maragarita stand etc, france has wines and a grand marnier slush etc) It is just something some people do for fun during their trip there is not a tour to take.

Re: Disney for adults???
My husband and I went there this past october for our honeymoon.
We loved every minute of it! I'm not sure when they start the halloween party but omg its so cute!! they keep the park open late for you and you trick or treat to all the characters!!!
We also loved Epcot! We were there probably 3 out of the 7 days . The restaurant in Germany was my favorite! Beergarden( or something like that) It was so good and entertaining!
Bistro de Paris was not worth it.The food was ok, really salty... and I couldn't understand the waiters, I found them a little rude.
Make sure you go to Universal and check out Harry Potter World and come back here and tell me how fun it was!!!

Re: Disney for adults???
You might think about doing one or more of the special tours that Disney offers also. Some of them are really special and informative - a must for any real Disney but because of the age restrictions, next to impossible with children.
This is one of my favorite activities when it's just my wife and I visiting.
