DISNEY: Crystal Palace for Breakfast?

Is it really that bad? My girls aren't huge Winnie the Pooh fans, but I thought it would be fun...but it's our last morning there, is the food that bad, or do you recommend something else?

We are doing Akershus another day for lunch. Would it be overkill to do it again for breakfast, and then a pain to go to the MK (would we lose a lot of park time on our last day?)

TIA!!!!

We've been to several Character breakfasts and The Crystal Palace is the most enjoyable as far as spread, space, etc. The other places were a lot smaller and were always rushing us out. My kids are not Pooh fans at all, but we always choose to eat there. It's also a GREAT location! Chat Icon

The food at all the character meals I think is just that buffet food. It isn't the same as the sit down. I haven't tried them for breakfast we do lunches or dinner (figure that at least you can get salads and some carved meat which is usually hard to screw up). My girls enjoyed Crystal Palace. I think if you want to eat in the park early that morning I would go ahead with it. I just think you have to have the right expectations. I think sometimes you go in expecting the same quality as you get at the sit down place and you do have to remember it is a buffet and they are trying to feed a lot of people. I didn't think it was horrible but it is typical buffet food.

I don't think I would do Akershus for breakfast and then try to get to the MK that will take you a while and you will lose valuable early morning time at the MK.

My opinion is the breakfast buffets are the least objectionable (as far as the food) of the buffets.

ETA: We always do Crystal Palace so we can get in the park before it opens. Breakfast itself is always a mad house though.

Ok...gotchya!

Yes, I think we know certain places are going to be about the girls pure enjoyment! I guess it'll be a fun option for our last day & get us in the MK early on our last morning (we are only staying til about noon & then driving home)

I went a few years ago and really enjoyed the breakfast.
