Re: Disney Carribbean Resort

I stayed there once. The rooms were pretty spacious. The pool area just underwent a huge overhaul and looks really cool (I was there before the new pool area). The food court has lots of options & is laid out well with tons of tables. The only thing I would recommend is getting a room in a preferred location - closest to the food court building/feature pool. The resort is HUGE and I thought it was a giant PITA to get from our room to the food court/pool.

Since the resort is so large, there are several bus stops within the resort so if you are near the first one - I can see it taking a little longer to get to a park.

I found these estimates on another website...

Approximate Duration:
Disney's Hollywood Studios -- 15 minutes
Epcot -- 10 minutes
Magic Kingdom -- 20 minutes
Animal Kingdom -- 20 minutes
Downtown Disney -- 25 minutes

Maybe the 45-60 minute estimate included wait time.

Thanks for posting this!!!!! This is much more doable. All I know is it's not on the monorail so it's all buses, which is fine.

I can tell you more in 28 days Chat Icon We are going there soon! I can't wait!
We are renting a car this time.. after the last time we went to Disney we decided that the buses were not for us.. that is a personal thing though... we also have 3 kids and supplies to lug around.

This is a good place to get an idea of transportations times:

Re: Disney Carribbean Resort

I stayed there a few years ago and loved it... It was so relaxing walking across the pond to eat breakfast every morning. I don't remember which section I was in but I think it was purple. LOL By the bus stop. It was a great hotel.

I don't remember how log it took to get everywhere but def. not an hour!!!
