Disney
My sister and her 2 daughters and I are looking into going to Disney for 4 days. She called today and got a price of $875 for 4 days with the hopper tickets and the meal plan at the Polynesian.
Does that sound like a lot? I haven't been to disney in a while so I can't get a handle on this..
TIA

Nope, sounds about right. Meal plans are $40 a day for adults $10 for kids. Tickets are a few hundred plus the hotel. Sounds great. I love the Poly BTW

Re: Disney
I would need more info to determine if it is a good deal or not.
Is that $875 pp I am assuming? How many adults (1?) how old are the children? (under 3? over 10?) - when are they going? Which meal plan? (basic? counter service only?)
BTW if they are going before the end of June they are doing a pay for 4 get 3 free - so you get a 7 night trip - it gives you hotel and park passes you would have to pay extra for the meal plan. But it works out cheaper than some 4 and 5 day trips do.
The polynesian is one of the most expensive hotels in WDW so it will be much more than some of the other deluxes and a lot more than the moderates or values.

Re: Disney
that price is great for the Poly with tickets and meal plan. Maybe you sister got a discount code or something. The Poly is one of deluxe hotels. We booked it for 3 nights and are paying over a thousand with no meal plan or tickets. if you can let me know what your sister's secret is in getting such a great deal. thanks.

We leave in 15 days. I make the reservations and then tell DH we are going It's easier that way

That number seems to be missing something. It sounds more like just the price of the hotel since it is usually $300 and up a night before tickets and meal plan.

I double checked and here is the deal.. 4 nights at the Poly, Park Hopper (without water parks) and the meal plan (3 meals a day, 1 sit down, 1 counter meals and 1 snack), and transfers to the airport is $3271 for 4 adults. It come out to be about $817 p/p. Gotta love AAA!

Re: Disney
Depending on when you go, you could get up to 7 days for the price of 4. It may not fit your plans, but there is an offer out there. You would still have to pay for the meal plan for the extra days, but the room and park tickets for anything beyond the 4th day are free if the offer is available for your dates and the resort has not sold its allotment of rooms.

YES it does - but the way some people were posting it sounded like it was $875 total and that didn't sound right - but pp sounds like a decent deal! I think we paid about $3200 (2 adults, 1 infant - she was 15 months) for 7 nights 8 days -with the same meal plan and the 8 day park hopper (only - no water parks), airport transfers are free (we rented a car - which I didn't include in that amount nor did I include the airfare).
We booked thru AAA for our last trip. The price was great! But a word of warning just double check everything they had a crib reserved on our initial reservation but it wasn't in the final reservation and there were several other mistakes.
I hope they have a great trip!!!
