i've thrown many of DD's princess dresses in the wash (we do not have disney store ones though) and they came out fine. Just dont dry them. If you're worried I would put them in a mesh garment bag and throw it in.

My nanny washes all of DD's costumes on the hand wash cycle in her machine (since she has a nicer machine than I do!) and they have all come out fine - including Elsa. I would probably turn it inside out, cold water, gentle cycle and hang dry.

thanks for the input. I am going to just try to put it in the machine on the hand wash cycle inside out and hope for the best. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I was thinking of having her wear it to frozen on ice Thursday so that's why I am nervous about ruining it. if I didn't have that in the long run I probably wouldn't care too much Chat Icon

I think you're fine with the hand wash cycle

Oh thanks for this! I always forget I have a garment bag and I loathe hand washing as well.

Anything I own that says "hand wash" to me means the hand wash cycle in my machine
And nothing has ever gotten ruined.
go for it
