Discovery Health Chanel?
I have Cablevision (possibly soon switching to Verizon) and I've been trying to locate this chanel for a while now. Does anyone know if Cablevision (or Verizon for that matter) carries Discovery Health?

verizon does, i think its 161 - however, as of 1/1/11, its becoming the OWN - oprah winfrey network.

Whaaaaaat???? Oh man, now I'll never get to watch it! We're moving in Jan and probably switching to Verizon at that time . . . By the time that happens though I guess it will be gone. I wonder why they'd change it to the Oprah chanel? There are like 800 chanels, can't they just add one more for her?

Cable companies are not changing it... Discovery is changing the channel/re-branding the channel to OWN.

i work for a cable company.... its supposed to have oprah original programming, but also programming related to woman, health, etc!
