disappointed
i had 17 eggs retrieved, 11 eggs fertilized, we transferred 2 yesterday BUT we had nothing to freeze the remaining embryos did not continue to grow from yesterday.
now, soooo many negative thoughts are creeping into my head. If none of the 9 made it to be frozen how well will the 2 i transferred do? If this cycle doesnt work i have to go thru the whole process again...
how in the world am i gonna survive this 2WW!

well, like everyone said, the embies have a better chance of progressing when they are inside of you... im sure your drs gave you the best two of the bunch...

so sorry!! FWIW, its not a real 2ww, since you did a 5dt? so you only have a 9 day wait, right?

I would try not to stress. Being that you did a day 5 transfer, those two embies self selected as the strongest ones. The impt thing is that you have two great strong embies... And this cycle could very well work!!

thanks ladies...thats true its not a true 2ww....and Dr. Brenner did say they were 2 perfect embies .....this whole IVF process is so nerve wracking!!

I had 7 eggs, 5 fertilized, 2 transferred (3 frozen of ok quality) on day3 and I got a bfp. Although I am only 15dp3dt.... Don't worry just stay positive!!!

I'm in the same boat as you! I had 14 retrieved 13 mature and 9 feritilzed. Transferred 2 grade BB on day 5 and all others (7) didn't make it to freeze. I too was very upset and am thinking the same thing. This 2ww is so tortuous. I hope all works out for you
