I just went over the weekend. The boys had so much fun. We stayed for about 5 hours and did all the outdoor stuff - walking trails, playground, sprinkler park and saw the volcano erupt. My 2 boys loved it. My youngest is 4 and dinosaur obsessed so he was in his glory. My oldest is 6.5 and he liked it too and he has no interest in dinosaurs usually. The drive was long from LI but we stayed over night in New Haven so it wasn't too bad coming home. I'd go back and recommend going if your kids love dinos esp.

Someone else just went recently too...
We were gonna go a few years ago when we went to mystic. Its close to there.
We have wanted to go since. My MIL wants to take us as a family trip. I was thinking of going on way home or to mystic for one night.
It got great reviews!
eta- 5ofclubs I think is who went ( did she change her screenname? )
