I love Cabana's at south street seaport, its cuban/latin cuisine and make sure you get a table facing the water so its more romantic

Re: dinner in NYC
For my bday in March DH took me to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant Maze. It was expensive....about $70 for each meal. Not something we can afford to do all the time by any means but it was a such a nice experience and the food was amazing!!

Re: dinner in NYC
Last Saturday we went to Bar Vetro for my birthday. The food was amazing, and it wasn't pricey at all. It's very modern inside as well, and the service was excellent. It's on 58th between 2nd & 3rd. They have an online menu if you google the name. P.S Hence the name it's not a bar LOL
I also really like Sofritos It's an excellent spanish restaurant on 1st in the 70's. They have a website as well if you want to look it up!

Re: dinner in NYC
Just went to Mercer Kitchen, one of Jean Georges' restaurants.
The prices were pretty reasonable (for a fancy place ) It was 10 -15 for appetizer and 20 - 30 for main course. We got a bottle of wine for 25. We did 2 appetizers and 2 meals, 1 bottle of wine for around $100.
and the food was amazing!
