Dining rooms
We are redoing some parts of the house and just curious. Do you need a chandelier over the dining room table? Where our dining room is going to be, will have a lot of light. DH thinks we won't need one but I am not sure if I have ever been to a house that didn't have one. Any ideas would help. Thanks in advance

Re: Dining rooms
Some people have high hats . A chandelier is more formal of course depending on the style. In most cases I would say yes. I think it is the main decorative element in the DR. My cousin does not have one becasue she has high hats and just put end lamps on her buffet instead and a candle arrangement on the table.
