Dining Room Table
Can you recommend your dining room table. DH and I have had his mom's hand me down for 5 years now and I'm done. It's completely not my style. We're moving in to a new place with some more room and want to upgrade.
The plan is to buy something not too fancy right now with the idea of putting it in our kitchen when we buy our forever home in the next few years. So for now, our current table will be moved into the kitchen and I would like something new for a dining table.
Let me know your thoughts and I would also love pictures too. Thanks!

Re: Dining Room Table
I have one from Bob's. So far no issues with it. I thought it was nice for the price, and it extends to 84", which is nice for holiday meals, etc.

Your table is lovely! Thanks for posting.
Anyone have any suggestions on where I should look? I know there are a bunch of furniture places on 110 if I'm not mistaken, but I'm not familiar so I would appreciate any recommendations.

If you're looking for something a little different, we have this one from the Log Furniture Store (without the seat cushions):

My style is classic and traditional. I want something that is functional, not too ornate, but still has detail and style.

Thanks! It only took me like a year to decide.
The first one is from Raymour and Flan...it's the Vineyard set by Hooker.
The second is from WorldMarket.com
I bought it sight unseen (very unlike me - I usually need to see everything in person) but read a lot of great reviews and saw some people upload pics of it after it was delivered to them and I loved it. So, I took a risk and was happy.
I don't think they sell it anymore on that site, but I bet I could track it down somewhere else.

You may want to look into Pottery Barn and Ethan Allen.

Dining Room Table
Honestly, my dining room table is from a thrift shop. It's solid walnut with a leaf that extends the table to seat 6. It was $200, but on sale for $100 and DH bought it when he lived with 3 other guys, so it wound up costing him $25 and we kept it when the house split up. It is easily a $1,000 table and it's beautiful! Maybe you should look into that option just to see what is out there!
