Dilating?
Well ladies, I am officially done with work. I was sent to the hospital yesterday with contractions, and they told me I am 1 cm. Being that I am only 34 weeks, we would all like this baby to cook for a couple more weeks (plus the rooms not ready ).
Anyway, my question, I know you can walk around 1 cm dilated for weeks, but what is the average in the "weeks"? Thanks!

Same with me. I was one cm dilated two weeks ago (36 weeks) and then last thursday I was up to just 2cm.
I think my SIL walked around 2cm for 6 weeks, or close to it.

I have been 1 cm for almost 4 weeks now............. no change at all......... just try and take it easy!!!

I don't know the average, but I was fingertip for 2 weeks, then 1cm for 2 weeks.

Really....All I want is for this baby to wait until May 1st, and then it can make an appearance. Watch, I'll go to my due date, and feel like I am completely overdone!

I was 1 cm dilated for 4 wks until the day I actually gave birth. I was in labor for over 24 hours before I actually started dilating. My cervix just did not want to move.

I was 1 to 2 cm dialated for 10 weeks on bedrest..allowed off bedrest and rx and gave birth a week later
