Dieting & Drinking (need advice)
So, I have a corporate Happy Hour this Thursday Night. I weigh-in at WW on Saturday mornings. I know from the past, that boozing it up will def. affect my weigh-ins. I also can be a big drinker with the right crowds.
I'm normally a lite beer kind of gal. I won't do any shots (as they make me stupid). I'm good for about at least 4 or more beers (no judgements please, I go out maybe once every 3 months, not often).
My question, liquor tends to get me silly, but is there a healthy option to drink that hopefully won't change the scale so much? P.S. I HATE WINE!! I know beer is so heavy, so I think something lighter may work.
Also, I plan to do 1 drink, then a water and so-on. Fingers crossed I stick with this.
Thanks!!

Skinny girl margherita(sp?)
tequila(has to be really good though) with a twist of lime and some soda water.
I think that's it. At least that's how I make it. Trust me, all you need is one.
Google it as I am sure there are many variations of it.

Re: Dieting & Drinking (need advice)
I would try to stick to 2-3 beers with a real low cal light beer that puts you close 350 calories. Plan for that wed/thurs/fri with your food intake - watch your calories and what you may or may not snack on during the happy hour. Alternating beer & water is a great idea - maybe seltzer or club soda with lime would work better. It's bubbly and it may feel more like a drink then water.
Liquor, even with no-cal mixers, is still in the 100 calorie range so you may as well enjoy your beer. Wine spritzers are low cal but not worth it if you don't like them.
Have fun!

I'd stick with a Mich Ultra, or the new MGD 64 or Bud 55.
If you do liquor, I'd do Malbu and Club or Vodka Club w/lime.

I like Vanilla Vodka and Diet Coke.
I've realized though that I really can't drink on WW. Aside from the points it uses it also skews my judgment and I wind up snacking. It takes me a few days to get back on track after drinking.

I would suck it up and not drink. Not worth it to me. Good luck!

Re: Dieting & Drinking (need advice)
your plan t o alternate your beer with water is a good one.
otherwise try: bacardi and diet coke - shot of bacardi is 65 calories
vodka with club soda and lime - 65 calories (no tonic - unless it's diet tonic)
