Diet while TTC question..
There are studies that low fat dairy may harm a woman's fertility by affecting ovulation. I'm not sure if it's the low fat dairy necessarily or the chance that women who eat low fat dairy may be on calorie restrictive diets.
Anyway so I've been TTC for 6 months and I eat low fat dairy..low fat milk in cereal, low fat yogurt and low fat cheese. I can do away with the low fat cheese and eat regular milk. There are no full fat yogurts though. Plus, I'd rather not gain a ton of weight at this point.
For those who got pregnant easily, what were your dairy routines? Did you eat full fat dairy, no dairy at all, or low fat?
Thanks!

Re: Diet while TTC question..
I was not eating dairy at all when I got pregnant and it only took 2 tries
I was totally Vegan before pregnancy, so for me, dairy had nothing to do with it. Perhaps the studies were focusing on low fat diets in general. Even though I wasn't eating dairy, I was eating plenty of fats- mostly through nuts and oils.

Re: Diet while TTC question..
After trying to get PG for over a year and a half, my doctor labeling me infertile (ugh hate that term), DH had tests done - he was labeled as having excellent levels (I could kill him), I began acupuncture - my acupuncturist told me to severely reduce dairy AND sugar. I did, I immediately lost 15 pounds - without working out at all. Then, I started to bring back the exercise, just to tone, nothing crazy. I began this at the end of September, along with going to acupuncture once every ten days. In December I got pregnant.

Re: Diet while TTC question..
I would not change my diet based on one study personally. i drink only soy milk and got pregnant. im sure there is a study somewhere that says soy milk is bad while TTC also.

Re: Diet while TTC question..
I used almond milk as my milk of choice but at greek yogurt and cottage cheese. I was very lucky that I was able to get pregnant our first month trying. For me, the type of dairy I ate didn't make a difference.

Re: Diet while TTC question..
I ate and drank only low fat/ nonfat dairy while TTC and got BFP within three months. I would drink skim milk daily, low fat yogurt, and low fat cheese... No impact on my fertility!

I almost exclusively drink low-fat milk and eat low-fat dairy. I got pregnant the first month trying.

Same here. I've always eaten a lot of lowfat yogurt, milk, etc. & got pregnant rather easily which was surprising because I've always had hormonal issues.
