Didn't work out like we planned

We told both sets of parents the sex of the baby tonight but our original creative idea was foiled thanks to technology.

We bought a baby blue t-shirt and wrote "It's a Boy" on it and put it on our dog. Then we were going to Skype both sets of parents at the same time and video the dog but the 3-way calling wouldn't work. So then we said let's video the dog and e-mail but for whatever reason the sound didn't work on the video. So we wound up taking a picture and just e-mail ing it and having them open it when we were on the phone with them.

Kind of lost its luster after all the tech mishaps but the parents know now and everyone is just as excited.

Ahh bummer that it didn't go as planned but YAY for them knowing they have a grandson on the way!
