Did you get entertainment for your baby's 1st birthday?
Did you get entertainment for your 1st birthday party?
We don't have a lot of children in our lives so DS's party will be mostly adults. We will probably only have 3-4 children and that is including if our out of state friends come. DS LOVES his new instructor for music class. I haven't asked her yet but I think we could probably get her to come to his party for a $100-200.
Would you get kiddie entertainment even if it was a mostly adult party with only 3-4 kids?

we did..but we had about 20 kiddies there...for the 3 or 4 youd have coming, I wouldnt bother. maybe just set up some craft stuff on a table for ythem?

Nope. We had a bunch of M&J's toys which kept the kids entertained the entire time.
Kids love to play with toys that aren't theirs.

I sort of want the entertainment for DS but I feel like the adults wouldn't enjoy it.
None of our friends have kids! They are all about to though. Not sure if they'd want to watch the kiddie entertainment.

No. We had a few kids but they entertained themselves running around the backyard playing with the dog.

That is so true.
I always feel like I am buying him the wrong toys because he seems to love everyone else's toys but not his own.

I did. We got an inexpensive DJ. We had about 10 kids, the rest was adults. I wanted background music mostly, since the party was in a KoC hall. It actually turned out better than I hoped. The only thing was that I had to keep telling them to turn it down -- they didn't seem to "get" that they were there for background. But actually everybody really got into the music and entertainment -- even the adults.

someone like Nick the Ballonatonic (i forget his exact name) would be good then because the adults would enjoy it too...or so Ive read on here. I havent used him but people swear the adults loved it just as much

DS really loves music. He smiles, laughs, giggles non-stop when people sing.
That is why I'm tempted to hire an entertainer...pretty much just for him.

Yes, we are having Music Together come.
But I have 23 kids coming....
For 3 or 4 kids, I probably wouldn't spend the money on entertainment

 no I dont think he sings. he just makes crazy balloon animals/scuptures etc that kids and adults enjoy watching GL!

No, your party sounds exactly like ours was. Mainly adults and a couple of kids, IMO not worth any extra $ for kiddie entertainment.
