Did you ever use too much detergent in the washer?
this never happened to me before this morning - I guess I put too much detergent in for a medium load and everything was covered in suds when it was done. I ran it again w/o detergent and it seems to be ok...
so weird though - I didn't think I used too much. just curios to see if this has happened to anyone else..

Sometimes that happens to me even if I don't over do it with the detergent.
Usually it happens when I wash towels.
I just run it through the rinse cycle again.
It's a phenomenon, lol!

Re: Did you ever use too much detergent in the washer?
It mainly happens to me when I have slightly less stuff in the machine (not enough to reduce the water amount) and I add the same amount of detergent

for towels I use less detergent than what is recommended per load size.

Same here. I just "rinse" it again.

Re: Did you ever use too much detergent in the washer?
Im going to harbor a guess and say that it's because of the Hot water you use to wash towels...and that you usually wash things on cold...the hot water will suds up more than the cold water does. Just rinse everything again and make sure it's on cold..

I only use hot water on my whites cycle. I use cold when washing towels.
