Did McCain "win" New Hampshire?
A woman I work with told me that McCain won New Hampshire because they vote early. I didn't get to read the paper or watch the news today and I just did a google news search, which didn't produce anything to that effect.
Could she have been confused about something?

they've started voting in NH and other states, but it would be impossible to know if he's won....perhaps she meant he is in the lead thus far with early voters?

I know VA does early voting for those who can't get to the polls on election day... but i don't think they can call anything until election night.

there are states that have early voting, but nothing is settled until all the polls have closed on election day.
